常见问题

选择此途径前的常见问题

Does Korean university admission guarantee a D-2 visa?

No. Admission is only the starting point. The school documents, financial proof, education history, passport records, translations, and consulate-specific requirements still need to support the D-2 filing.

Why should student visa applicants check nationality-specific guidance?

Nationality and document origin can affect financial-proof expectations, academic-document authentication, translation needs, TB or health-related checks, and consular screening timelines.

Can D-2 students work part-time in Korea?

Part-time work is not automatic. Students generally need to follow school and immigration permission rules, and unauthorized work can affect extensions, school transfers, or future status changes.

When should I compare D-2 with work visa routes?

Compare work visa routes when the main goal is employment, when a Korean employer is already sponsoring the applicant, or when the study plan is mainly being used to reach a job route later.
